There is luxury living and then there is Luxury living with that capital L.  Houston-based developer Sunny Bathija relishes the difference and wants to introduce the Bayou City to a level of luxe living yet to be experienced in the nation’s fourth largest city. To make that happen, the CEO of Satya, the Houston based commercial real estate consulting firm, is partnering with St. Regis Residences to bring the brand’s first all-residential development to Texas.

Yes, Houston gets it first.

Groundbreaking is expected in 2025 on the St. Regis Residences, Houston, a 37-story condominium which will be tucked on 3.8 acres just south of Memorial Drive on the banks of  Buffalo Bayou. The property at 102 Asbury Street will feature 93 residences ranging from one-bedroom homes to sweeping penthouses with prices starting at $2.4 million.

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – The upscale St. Regis Residences brand is breaking into the Houston market with a proposed 35-story condominium which will be situated on four acres with views of River Oaks, Memorial Park, Downtown and Buffalo Bayou.

The developer is Satya, a Houston-based commercial real estate firm that is currently developing the Tiara on the Beach condominiums in Galveston.

The St. Regis Residences, Houston, will rise on Asbury Place, just north of Buffalo Bayou and the blue-chip River Oaks neighborhood.

St. Regis is a brand affiliated with a luxury branch of the Marriott hotel organization. The condominium is the brand’s first, exclusive residential development in Texas.

Throughout Crawford Long’s new hospital and medical office tower, the corridor lights are gentle. Long fluorescent bulbs are shielded inside wide, A-shaped fixtures that diffuse the light and spread it thorougly yet softly around the hallways.
The effect, when one is walking upright, is easy to miss. But imagine being wheeled around on a gurney, lying face-up and staring at the ceiling, anxious thoughts of an imminent and possibly quite invasive medical procedure flying around one’s head. At a time like that, small comforts go a long way.
