Practice with Purpose
The heart of our practice is our New Haven studio where our team members work together to design, explore, and learn each day. Our design process ranges from hand sketching to model-building to virtual reality. Team members utilize a mix of digital and analog tools to deliver the ideal results. It is this steadfast dedication to producing transformational architecture and commitment to our clients that drive us forward.
Pickard Chilton is passionate about designing equitable spaces that create a positive social impact as exemplified by our designs for 2+U's Urban Village in Seattle and Google Cambridge in Greater Boston. Our work focuses on unlocking the opportunities to enhance the public realm through transit-oriented developments such as River Point in Chicago and landmark master plans like Global Gateway Shinagawa, and a newly completed mixed-use development, Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, in Tokyo. Our bespoke corporate headquarters experience supports the ESG goals of many Fortune 500 clients to deliver healthy and sustainable workplace environments for clients such as Devon Energy, Northwestern Mutual, and Norfolk Southern. To advance sustainability targets, we are building more than 4 million square feet of mass timber construction to sequester carbon. These include the ATCO Commercial Centre in Calgary, completed in 2016, and T3 RiNo project currently under construction in Denver.
